From: "Lee Reed" To: Date: Fri 23 Jan 2004 03:52:14 -0500 ================================================ ..and it really boils down to it IS sosdd...but what's happened to this list? ok, i'm howard dean and i'm yelling to GET EVERYONE AWAKE AND INVOLVED HERE! hmmm...politics imploded the last list, perhaps it can enliven this list...and if y'all want to tell me to f* off, okay...i'm just trying to spark some life back into the list since music doesn't seem to be doing the trick... well, i'm a democrat, no bones about it...never lied about it...had serious problems last presidential election, but stood by my candidate...this time around, i'm paying much more attention to the primary election...kinda have to, since we don't have an automatic candidate...i like General Wesley Clark, but he has some serious PR issues, including his campaign manager...Kerry, Edwards, and Dean all have viable reasons for qualifying...if i had to list a second fave, i'd be stuck between kerry and edwards at this point...altho i think dean may be getting the bums rush since his Iowa outburst(I personally think he was just overenthusiastic)... so at the risk of alienating 3/4 of the list, i open the floor to opinions....if you are dem, who is your fave candidate and why, and if you are republican, how do you rate his chances against each of the dem cndidates? I am looking for honest, open discourse....i don't want 'he said/she said" ..let's try to keep this adult and open...and of course, if debbi says its over, its over...after all, she owns the list...but can we try to discuss this rationally?
